Check who arrives
A broad educational question may attract people who are learning rather than buying. That can still be valuable, but a consultation request may be premature. A relevant email subscription or a deeper explanation may fit their stage better.
Check what the page earns
Can a visitor tell who the offer serves, what changes after buying, and why the approach is credible? Specific examples, transparent limitations, and a clear process can help someone assess fit. A striking headline alone cannot answer these questions.
Check the cost of the next step
A long form, unclear email consent, or unexpected login introduces another decision. Ask only for information needed for the immediate next step. Explain what happens after submission and make errors recoverable.
Measure the break
Compare page arrivals, CTA clicks, form attempts, successful submissions, and subsequent engagement. A form error is a different problem from an irrelevant offer. Keep test traffic separate, and change one substantial element at a time.
